New Year, New You?

Person stretching

As we start the new year, many of us will make a healthy New Year's resolution - but what's the best way to stick to your goals?

Start small

Making changes doesn't have to be too difficult or complicated; breaking larger goals into smaller goals that are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and timely (SMART), is a great way to help you succeed!

Tell your friends and family

Friends and family members can be our biggest supporters, so sharing your goals with them means you're more likely to get support and want to avoid failure.

Expect to revert to old habits from time to time

Making lifestyle changes isn't always straight forward, and there may be times you revert back to previous behaviours. Rather than treating this as a failure, treat is as a temporary setback rather than a reason to give up.
